Hey all! Important part: We've been getting some signups on SubscribeStar and Patreon during the Supporter Phase of WCA's 1.3.5.0 build. So as a gift, I'm moving T2 Access up by two days! If we keep getting signups, I'll do the same for T1, and again for the free Public release! Here's the remaining schedule:

There are some fairly insignificant bugs in 1.3.5.0, mostly just 2 typos and a mistake that makes the phone fail to swap to Serafina's phone conversation in her side story, so I haven't done a bugfix patch quite yet since there's nothing majorly game breaking.

The rest of this post is unrelated to WCA, but I thought it might be fun to include what I've been working on when I'm not able to work on WCA. This is a new, short-form AVN I'm calling Goblin Roommates for the moment. Necro and I put our heads together and came up with some really fun designs, not all of which are finished. 

But... why? Well, it's no secret that I inadvertently added to a sort of Goblin Fever I had no idea existed with the creation of my version of goblins for WCA. People kept asking for more and more goblins. We're at capacity in WCA, so I thought, "Why not just do a side game about goblins?" And um... if the Discord server had their say, this game would be massive.

Thankfully, I'm only planning on doing a sort of shorter-form project that hits its limit at 5 love interests. I wanted to take the time to show off these 5 designs and talk about our current ideas for the characters. The ideas came from a post by Krocodilian on Twitter:

Naturally, we wanted to make ALL of these. But we also want to have a shorter, complete project in our lineup, so we settled on 5 love interests. We made two Moss goblins (the tribe of goblin I created for WCA, which Nook, Tilai, Senia, Nichiri, Padget, and Cerros belong to) a Fire goblin, a Snow goblin, and a Flower goblin for something extra exotic.

Alrighty. The story so far takes place in a modern fantasy setting. It's in a world where humans and nonhumans have had their residential zones separated. Much like in America, where 1/16th Native blood is enough to be considered Native by definition, 1/16th nonhuman blood here is enough to classify you as nonhuman. That's the story of our protagonist, Aspen. 

When this is discovered, Aspen is government mandated to relocate to the nonhuman quarter of the city. They arrange a residence for him, an apartment currently being rented by two goblins. And one of them is very not happy about it, but as it's a government mandate, there's nothing she can do but accept it.

Speaking of the goblins, here are our 5 designs:

Let's start with the center. Enn is the primary tenant of this particular apartment, and she's not happy that you're barging in on her life. But as stated above, since it's a government mandate, there's not much she can do besides find somewhere else and move out. And that's not easy with how crowded the nonhuman quarter tends to be. Enn is cynical and grumpy, and absolutely hates humans... or so she says.

Far left is Nimu. She lives with Enn. The original canon was that she and Enn were sisters, but I may have to code it so the player determines what their relationship is so Patreon doesn't land on me. Nimu is debilitatingly shy, suffering from a horrid stutter and is extremely self-conscious about her body. She likes her hair and her face, but she feels like everyone's staring at her in public, so she doesn't go out much more. Enn is fiercely protective of her and while Nimu appreciates this most of the time, sometimes it can be a little... suffocating. She's developed a bad habit of sneaking around when doing things she knows Enn won't approve of.

Those are your main roommates throughout the course of the game. The other three are friends you'll meet along the way. Far right, we're calling Lea for now, is a Flower Goblin. She's energetic, bubbly, curious, and above all, playful. Maaaaaybe a little airheaded. She's always looking for the next fun thing, and loves freedom. Back row on the left, we're calling Ume for now.  She's a friend of Nimu and likes to come by and hang out. She has a fascination with fire, but a healthy caution around it as well. Back row on the right, we're calling Meela for now. She's the landlady of the apartment building, and is more of the mature and confident type. Flirty and fairly aggressive, she's got no qualms about humans and loves getting reactions from people.

While we absolutely love what we've done so far with Enn, Nimu, and Lea, it's worth noting that Ume and Meela's designs aren't finalized. I sort of realized after Necro made the bases that we have 4 girls with very similar body styles, and I've worked on WCA long enough that I feel we could use some variety in this lineup. We've drawn up ideas about Ume having two different forms, as she packs on fat like bears do and hibernates all winter, coming out skinny during the spring. But it might take a very long time to tell that story, as that transformation takes time and will need several models in between, so we're not real set on that. For Meela... I don't really know what I wanna do with her yet. She's probably the one I've had the least ideas for. I do think that we might shift one of them to a bit more of an athletic, tomboyish build, probably Ume, but not so far as Jade or Senia in WCA. Still stewing on all of that.
