WCA Season 1 is a mostly linear introduction to a lewd/adult/erotic/ecchi kinetic novel series that places a heavy focus on character depth, quality of story, and memorable interactions. It is a SLOW BURN, mostly linear-style story which takes time to build your relationship with each of the girls before getting to the sexual content. There is heavy focus on emotional tension and mystery surrounding every character that you meet. Written by a published fantasy author, the story in this game is head and shoulders above most ecchi VNs.
The Setting
The game is set in a world where fantasy races exist, but in separate dimensions. Through the development of Goblin technology, these dimensions were able to be bridged, and the World's Crossing Academies were created.
We've all dreamed of living on another world at some point. In this world, it is possible. Those who are interested in living amongst another species can go through schooling at the World's Crossing Academy to learn that culture. Schooling begins at the Academy branch on your homeworld. Then you'll move to the Nexus Academy between worlds. Finally, you'll attend finishing school on the world you chose. Sounds pretty epic, right?
A Little Something For Everyone
For World's Crossing, I wanted a very diverse cast of characters. In reality, many different body and personality styles exist, and the inclusion of fantasy races allows us to take that to the extreme. People have different tastes, and I wanted to cover as many of those as we could. Perhaps you're intrigued by the hulking, muscle-bound Goliath? Or the tiny, mischievous Pixie? Maybe the elusive Fire Genasi catches your attention? Perhaps you fancy a fellow martial artist who could teach you a thing or two about fighting? Or maybe you're interested in fantasy races that aren't traditionally considered attractive, such as Goblins?
I wanted a vast array of options and aesthetics, but I also wanted each of these characters to be more than hollow shells that are nice to look at. Each of these characters will have a deep, lovingly crafted story of their own. I'm hoping that each route you choose will have hours worth of content you'll be thinking about even when you're not playing the game.
Attention To Detail
World's Crossing is, at its core, an adult game. So of course, we wanted to emphasize the quality of our H-scenes by using a mixture of high-resolution stills and video loops. The characters are created with the best textures available. I wanted skin that looks like skin. Eyes that really feel like they're looking into yours. The animations are synced and modified in a way that makes the movements seem more natural.
Story Quality
The story writing is handled by me, VictorSeven. I'm a published fantasy author under the pen name Miles Tigard and author of The Riftkey Chronicles fantasy series with 20 years of fantasy writing experience. Most adult games these days focus almost exclusively on the adult content and, while it makes sense to do so given the type of game it is, I find that most adult games really skimp on story quality. Many of these games offer filler scenes that only serve as cheap excuses to get to the next H-scene. I felt that my experience as a published fantasy author would give this story an edge over the rest of the adult games out there, and provide a deeply satisfying experience on both a physical and emotional level. I want World's Crossing Academy to be MORE than just a cheap fap fest. I want you, the player, to be emotionally connected to the characters and invested in their stories. Higher quality means less frequent updates, as I do have a series of my own that I am constantly working on, but you can expect the depth and quality of the story to be far beyond what you're used to in an adult visual novel. And who knows? With the right funding, I may be able to spend more time on World's Crossing!
The Element of Danger
No story is complete without a source of conflict. World's Crossing Academy features several antagonists, some focused on our main character, and some focused on the other characters. For instance, our main character is plagued by a stalker. Cecilia wants you all to herself, and interacting with the other girls can put them in serious danger. Though broken, Cecilia is cunning and intelligent, and is more than capable of putting other girls in the Infirmary. Or worse.
Real Consequences
Often, your choices can lead to undesirable things happening. Though the Janitor Arc of the game is light on choices, I felt this was a realistic approach to take, and it offered the game some tension. However, I also felt that including too many mechanics that lead to a Game Over would leave a sour taste in players' mouths, so I explored and settled on the idea that every event in the game serves to unlock something, or leads to something else. Who knows? Spending time in the Infirmary yourself may allow you to meet a character you otherwise wouldn't...
The Beginning of a Journey
Obviously, I have some very lofty goals for World's Crossing Academy. There are three main story arcs planned for the main character: the Janitor arc, the Security arc, the Counselor arc, and perhaps more beyond that. The Janitor Arc functions as an introduction to the world and the series, and serves to set up the rest of the story. Currently, I have no plans to "finish" the game. That means I want to keep adding more and more content, DLC characters, scenes, and locations for as long as I have support. So I am eternally grateful for anyone who starts out on this journey with me.

Is there Orcs in this ?.
There are currently 1 orc and 1 goliath in this game. There's a very diverse cast with a lot of different body styles. Do note that Season 1 is getting a bit of a rewrite because the negativity in the beginning ended up being too much for some people. If you're not sensitive to that, give it a go!
Greetings Miles. I have a question regarding this vn. Im deeply intrigued by it and i do want to give it a go. Though,im not sure whether to try it as of now or to wait for the rewrite. I do not mind some negativity,but i sure do want to be up to date. Will the changes be massive, or just small things to give the story a bit of a more calm nature? Will it change anything for the next seasons? Thanks for the good work sire.
The main aim is to smooth out the negativity and man-hating atmosphere that's turning some players off. There are tens of thousands of people who were fine with it as is, but I kept getting enough comments on it that I thought I'd smooth it out a little bit.
There will be some added choices in several key areas. I originally wrote this like a book as I'm an author, not a game dev. Now, almost 3 years later, I have a bit of experience and want to revisit Season 1 and give players more agency. The changes to Season 1 won't change anything that is currently written in Season 2.
By all means, give it a try and if it seems a little too much, you can always wait for the rewrite. Priority right now is on new content for Season 2, so it's going to be a while before the rewrite is done. I say give it a try in its current state and join the community Discord! We'd love to have ya.

Daaaamn this is well done. Though it is basically on tracks, the writing is well done, characters are relatable and enjoyable, theres actual *reasons* for shit instead of a "just because", and the overall look of things is actuallly better than expected given the tools used. And seeing some of the before and after lighting things or stuff that was clearly improved on is also rad. Shared this with a friend and they got so into it that they made it to chapter 5 while my slow readin ass was still on the first friday lmao. I will have to see how season 2 is, and definitely look forward to the rewrite and combine I been seeing you talk about. Keep up the rad work, this is up there with Once In A Lifetime and Eternum for something that could legit be made into a TV series or movie or something lol.

I have to do some major reorganizing before I can make more scenes for her, and she'll likely make a return once I combine the two games into one. So once the Season 1 rewrite is done and I have my compression methods nailed down, we'll be good to go! She's got a super interesting story and I'm sad I can't take it further right now.

I need to know, Season 1 end after Serafina knock on your door, isnt it ? Or did I miss something ? Because when I try to load the save in Season 2, I have an error and it ask me my nickname again.

I ran out of space in Season 1 due to the apk size limit on Android devices being 2GB. Season 2 doesn't support save transfer yet, so just start a new game and enter your name again. There is currently nothing in Season 2 that is affected by your choices in Season 1.
However, when I do the rework, it will all be one game, and you won't need to worry about separate games and separate downloads. This is temporary. Hope you enjoy S2!
But yes. The answer is yes, that's where Season 1 ends, and no, you can't load your Season 1 save because Season 2's variables are different. Just start a new game for now :)

It was originally intended to be the end of the build, but as I stated before, I ran out of space when it came to Android users so I was forced to end the game there. I haven't updated Season 1 since then, and I can't update it because I've made massive changes to the game file, file structure, and even some rewrites. The rework combines Season 1 and Season 2 into the same game with new tech, and is not ready yet, so I can't fix the language at the end of Season 1 because the game file is now radically different and still in progress. I won't be able to update it until the full rewrite and rework is complete.

I guess you’re not using any kind of Version Control System (like Git) for development? If you did, then making a small patch for an earlier version wouldn’t be a problem.
If not, then as a developer to developer I can recommend you to check it out. Not for our sake and not to patch Season 1, but to be able to secure your development process and to be completely sure that you’re not going to lose your work in case of some kind of hardware failure or some another mistake. It can also help to track bugs if you know when they were introduced. And a bunch of other benefits.
I use Github Desktop so that I can work on 2 separate machines primarily lol. But it is LONG updated since then. I appreciate it, though!

Nope. You don't really need one; this is a mostly linear prologue to the rest of the story, and most of the choices are for flavor. The Gallery is a tiny bit misleading, as I think there are only 6 or 7 H-Scenes in the first game, and I thought I was gonna have room for a ton more before I ran out of room. Eventually I'll get back to this and update it, but I'm hard at work on the sequel, which you can play at https://victorseven.itch.io/wca2 once you've finished this one :)

what platform I just use my normal laptop when I download the game it downloads a winrar file and I have to extract the game folder of tht file and then I usually just play if u mean which windows I use then windows 10
So you're on Windows. I wonder if you're running out of memory while the game is open. Do you make sure all your web browsers and other programs are closed when you play? If not, try that.
Are there going to be scenes involving spanking?
I hadn't considered it, but I can think of a couple of characters whose side stories that might fit into. Are you talking about spanking the girls, or getting spanked BY the girls? If spanking the girls, you really need to check out a game called The Headmaster. It's ALL about spanking and pleasure interchanging, and it's really intelligently written.

I've tried to do my best and include as many walks of life/conditions/identities as I felt I could reliably and faithfully bring to life in a story, things that tend to be sensitive and under-represented but also require a degree of care and caution when undertaking. I talk to a lot of people who have the conditions I write about. For our trans character, my sister is actually married to a trans girl, and I've spent hours and hours chatting with her about what dysphoria feels like, the types of things they think about and worry over that some of us might not consider, etc.
In writing our main character Aurum, I also wrote him to be the friend these people have always needed. I know many people assume this is a "game" and that they'll have a degree of control over the character's future, but I try to view the characters as real people, and our players are not going to have the option to bully the character toward whatever preference they may have. Rather, you get to play the person they've always needed to support their needs and dreams, while also having the option to explore an intimacy with them that you can't get in normal AAA titles.

only started playing this today and i gotta say i already love the fact that ur main character is somebody that uses their head and has common sense compared to like 90% of the visual novel protagonists we see most times ... loving the girls and personalities of most of them and i think ur doing a fantastic job ... i just hope im not already rushing the content today and that u can get the updates out fast enough for me lol jk ... great work though and looking forward to the rest

Yes, I ran out of room! Android devices won't install an apk if the game is over 2gb so I'm gonna start Season 2 right where Season 1 left off. Gonna treat Season 1 as a prologue to the whole story at this rate. The ORIGINAL plan was to end Season 1 at the beginning of Monday but... that didn't pan out lol.
Really glad you liked River. I was honestly worried I hadn't written that in a way that handled it delicately and made for an enjoyable character.
There will likely be a 1.0 update for Season 1 that adds a few things, quality of life changes, and a SFW mode that skips the lewds, but my priority is going to be getting a demo for Season 2's new system out that gives you a little bit more control over who you're spending time with between shifts at work.
Yay! Man, i have to say. You are really doing a very good job with this game and it's story (I love is very inclusive without being too forced). I know that working on a video game can sometimes be tedious or exhausting but don't give up! Me and all of us gamers support you and look forward to seeing your work evolve and bloom :)

Damn! Small world. I still stream on Sundays and Mondays. Changed the channel name to VictorSevenTV. But yeah, I saw what the typical Adult Game offered and I thought, "Shit, I'm an author. Why don't I try doing one of these, but with story?"
I was having odd thoughts about this game at first because all you kind of do it just click to read dialog and thats it, you didnt get to interact with anything. But I absolutely love the story and how nice and sweet the MC is. I have some questions though, will you get to gave sex with the wind elf and the african girl at all? (I forgot their names). Also, I see you add stuff to where you can skip certain scenes, or disabling the stalker (I wish I did disable it cause the story is so upsetting and messed up I kind of regret it, no hate.) will you add a skip button for lesbian scenes? I'm personally not into lesbian stuff so it was kind of a pain having to spam click the entire time with the scene with the two goblins. Its a question and a suggestion but I was just wondering. This game has the best story from all of the other games I've played.
This might be spoilers for some people. But I got done with a scene with the MC and Galka and it had be on the verge of tearing up from how wholesome and sad it was. This game keeps on getting better and better

I'm working on SFW mode, which will skip all the lewd scenes so the game can be played and streamed on YouTube and Twitch. I'm also working on going through and making all encounters optional so you're not forced into being intimate with a girl you don't like/ seeing content you don't like.
Cecilia's story is upsetting because it makes sense for the story overall. This isn't your typical AVN lol. I'm an author first, a game designer second, and I like a lot of emotional weight in my stories. But the bright side is, in Season 2, you as the player will decide her fate.
I finished the whole game (that was available ) in under 6 hours. I was left with so many questions lol. Yeah I know this isnt your typical AVN. Which is why its so good.
I know why Cecilia's story is so upsetting I just didnt expect it to be that horrible. Which is why I'm going to accept her. Especially when you last talk to her about how shes using a knife to get my attention.
It's good you are adding more interactions. I really want to spend more time with Jade or the dark elf. I also want to skip all the lesbian scenes cause im just not into it. I wanna get a chance to confront jack (I think thats his name) and either punch him to make him leave or threaten or scare him. Also, I hope you arent actually gonna have the MC send pics of girls to the librarian, or at least let us choose to do it or not. idk about anyone else but me personally, I dont like sending private stuff like photos to anyone irl. none of the less in a game. I have one question though, will you be able to have sex with every single one of these women introduced in this game. I suppose if so, with the librarian my dick would be the only one she wants. or turn her, idk. Again, just suggestions and questions. There are few AVNs that manage to keep my full attention throughout the 'tamer', dialogue-only scenes; this is one of the few. I'm hooked.
All in all, I'm really excited for future updates. I'm a sucker for a good story, so this game has really scratched an itch. Thank you!
To all players that considers playing this game, absolutely do just that. Couldn't recommend it more. Keep in mind that this game is, as the author put it, a "slow burn". If you're in the mood for a quickie, bookmark the game and come back another time.

This was an incredibly fun game so far! It is always really refreshing to find an adult game with genuine plot and not just H-scenes. Your writing is engaging and while I managed to guess some of the plot twists, others were quite unexpected. I'm looking forward to the next public update! Unfortunately I'm too broke to financially support the game currently, but here's hoping for better prospects on the future!!

I was thinking about the beach scene with Nook. It ended abruptly and it was a bit unclear what happened. Afterwards the MC wakes up and tells us what sort of happened. Try to do more show instead of tell (this happens later too with new character that suddenly gets introduced during that event) . I found that part really confusing and disjointed. The MC did not look that bothered by it and continues onward with a shrug almost (to me at least). This is my take on it of course. Also, take your time before expanding the scope with new events and characters. It's beginning to become a bit overwhelming with all the new side content and branching pathways in my opinion. Anyway, still one of the better VN's around.
