WHAT THIS IS NOT: Your typical "porn game." If you're here for a quick fap, you're gonna want the Fantasies Collection Add-on. Otherwise, you're probably gonna be disappointed, because in most girls' cases (with a couple notable exceptions), it takes a while to earn your way into their good graces.

WHAT THIS IS: a fairly slow-burn, mostly linear-style story which takes time to build your relationship with each of the girls before getting to the sexual content. There is heavy focus on emotional tension and mystery surrounding every character that you meet. Written by a published fantasy author, the prioritization of story in this project is head and shoulders above most ecchi VNs.

No NTR. No Sandbox. Skippable/Declinable H-scenes. Options to avoid content for girls you don't like. Skippable minigames so you have the option to play them or pass if you just wanna experience the story. Jumpscares, but with the option to turn them off.

49 total love interests being written, each of them with a different romantic/physical pace. Some girls will be flirty and forward. Some will be cautious and reticent. Some will tease, some will have defenses to get past. 

The Setting

The story is set in a world where fantasy races exist, but in separate dimensions. Through the development of Goblin technology, these dimensions were able to be bridged, and the World's Crossing Academies were created.

We've all dreamed of living on another world at some point. In this world, it is possible. Those who are interested in living amongst another species can go through schooling at the World's Crossing Academy to learn that culture. Schooling begins at the Academy branch on their homeworld. Then they move to the Nexus Academy between worlds. Finally, they attend finishing school on the world you chose. Sounds pretty epic, right?

This story takes place in a local junior college that has become a destination for nonhuman girls looking to transfer to the human world.

A Little Something For Everyone

For World's Crossing, I wanted a very diverse cast of characters. In reality, many different body and personality styles exist, and the inclusion of fantasy races allows us to take that to the extreme. People have different tastes, and I wanted to cover as many of those as we could. Perhaps you're intrigued by the hulking, muscle-bound Goliath? Or the tiny, mischievous Pixie? Maybe the elusive Djinni catches your attention? Perhaps you fancy a fellow martial artist who could teach you a thing or two about fighting? Or maybe you're interested in fantasy races that aren't traditionally considered attractive, such as Goblins?

I wanted a vast array of options and aesthetics, but I also wanted each of these characters to be more than hollow shells that are nice to look at. Each of these characters will have a deep, lovingly crafted story of their own. I'm hoping that each route you choose will have hours worth of content you'll be thinking about even when you're not playing the story.

Attention To Detail

World's Crossing is, at its core, an adult story. So of course, we wanted to emphasize the quality of our H-scenes by using a mixture of high-resolution stills and video loops. The characters are created with the best textures available. I wanted skin that looks like skin. Eyes that really feel like they're looking into yours. The animations are synced and modified in a way that makes the movements seem more natural. There's also none of that "1 pose, 3 speeds, and bust" nonsense that a lot of H-games do. There are H-scenes in WCA that are over 50 video loops long.

Story Quality

The story writing is handled by me, VictorSeven. I'm a published fantasy author under the pen name Miles Tigard and author of The Riftkey Chronicles fantasy series with 25 years of fantasy writing experience. Most adult games these days focus almost exclusively on the adult content and, while it makes sense to do so given the type of story WCA is, I find that most adult games really skimp on story quality. Many of these games offer filler scenes that only serve as cheap excuses to get to the next H-scene. I felt that my experience as a published fantasy author would give this story an edge over the rest of the adult games out there, and provide a deeply satisfying experience on both a physical and emotional level. I want World's Crossing Academy to be MORE than just a cheap fap fest. I want you, the player, to be emotionally connected to the characters and invested in their stories. Higher quality means less frequent updates, as I do have a series of my own that I am constantly working on, but you can expect the depth and quality of the story to be far beyond what you're used to in an adult visual novel. And who knows? With the right funding, I may be able to spend more time on World's Crossing!

The Element of Danger

No story is complete without a source of conflict. World's Crossing Academy features several antagonists, some focused on our main character, and some focused on the other characters. For instance, our main character is plagued by a stalker. But not everything is as it seems. Each character, antagonist or not, is written with care and depth, and if you take the time to really dig into people despite whatever defenses you're presented with, you may just find gold. That being said, not everyone can be expected to like every character, so you, the reader, will have the choice to avoid romance with the love interests you don't jive with, especially during Season 2 when the Free Time menu is unlocked.

Linear Story, with Player Agency

The Janitor Arc of the story is very kinetic and light on choices, but the story does feature (and warn you about) critical decisions that will either unlock or lock off certain romance stories. This allows the player to see everything they want to see in a single playthrough rather than forcing the player to commit to a "route" for the sake of replayability. 

The Beginning of a Journey

Obviously, I have some very lofty goals for World's Crossing Academy. There are two main story arcs planned for the main character: the Janitor arc and the Security arc, and I'm considering expansions for after the main story is finished. The Janitor Arc functions as an introduction to the world and the series, and serves to set up the rest of the story. After I finish the main story, I want to keep adding more and more content, DLC characters, scenes, and locations for as long as I have support. So I am eternally grateful for anyone who starts out on this journey with me.
