World's Crossing Academy Season 1: Janitor Arc
Season 2 continues the story of Aurum as he makes his way out of the Janitor profession and is promoted to the Security team. The world is expanding, and so are the dangers you face as part of the Security team. New duties, new expectations, and new ways to influence the story rear their heads, along with a whopping 49 planned side stories/characters to interact with.
This iteration of the series takes everything linear that story-focused players loved and adds the most requested feature: more control over your playthrough. We've added special "Free Time" breaks in the main story that allow you to choose a girl or two to spend time with and further your relationship with. These are optional, and you have the option to go straight back into the main story if you wish. But each girl is going to have a fully fleshed-out side story of her own, and it's in the side stories that most of the lewd content will be featured.

I hate to see something that never existed cause a re-write.
The one in question, iirc, doesn't even like guys, and that's why the MC is helping her "as a wing-man", because the MC respects the fact that she isn't date-able for him. So a re-write that would change it to the choice of dating one or the other or both, doesn't even make sense because that's never going to happen anyway.
Hell, it could possibly confuse or cause extra stress to both YOU as the one doing the extra work, and whoever is complaining about a scenario that (normally, I think) wouldn't ever happen to begin with. If people whine and cry just because they want to do absolutely everyone no matter what, that's their problem. There is absolutely nothing wrong about this, and IMO, not worth a re-write unless YOU feel it needs to change.
Honestly, if they're blowing up that small of a detail, I can just imagine what they might do once the other relationships start blooming.
Kind of reminds me of a quote I read a cpl years ago: "It is impossible for one person to please everybody, for to do so would only cause insanity. Instead, do things as you normally would for those that appreciate the effort" ~~ And I absolutely wish I knew where I picked that up from.

It just peeves me, when someone might complain about the smallest detail in something, that causes the creator to change it.

My guy... my guy... trust me, I hate it, too. But there have been SO many people popping into the F95 forum crying, "NTR! NTR! THIS GAME NEEDS THE NTR TAG! NTR!" that I have no choice. If my game gets labeled NTR, that's a death sentence. People take one look at that tag and nope the fuck out. And I cannot risk that.
The problem isn't Chiara. It's Eshtel that the players ended up liking, and wanting to date. Not getting a choice in the matter is what pissed them off, and in that respect, I DO understand. I'd hate to be like, "Hey I really like that Elf chick. AWW WHAT SOMEONE ELSE GETS TO DATE HER?!" I get that.
I know I can't please everyone. Half the community wants a redemption arc for Cecilia. The other half wants her dead. I can't please both crowds lol. I've made peace with that. But I do have to be honest with myself when someone brings up an issue that does make some sense and would improve the player experience a bit. And in this case, NTR tagging aside, I think people who like Eshtel SHOULD have the option to date her.

Hi there! There will NEVER be NTR in my games, ever. Currently in Chapter 1, there is a scene where you help one of the girls ask another one of the girls out. This has sparked some outcry, so I'm in the process of rewriting it so that the player has a choice to do that, date the girl in question monogamously, or date the girl along with the other girl in a closed poly arrangement. There is also a hidden trans character and a stalker girl who are being moved to the Secret Character categories and there are a few lesbian scenes scattered throughout that will be removed and put into side story files for people to opt into. There will NEVER be MMF sharing either.
Now, you WILL see people crying that there is NTR in the game because in the current Season 1, you do help a girl ask another girl out. But that's not NTR. And it's being fixed. Season 1 is undergoing a moderate rewrite to smooth out some early mistakes I made when I was learning to make this game.

Hello, I have no problem helping a woman to ask another woman out as long as they then return to the MC, everything is fine and I would like to choose the Poly relationship not only between the three, but the futa/trans character and other women can enter, where everyone who is in that Poly relationship and can have fun with whoever they want, as long as it is between the people in that poly relationship and not with other Men because then I already think it's cheating.
As for the lesbian content, I could leave it alone, I don't think it's NTR, because the MC can have fun, so they can also have fun with each other within the Poly Relationship, and they can also have fun with the MC.

Oh you have to send me a friend request if you wanna message me directly. I had one person who would not get tf outta my DMs and use the server proper so I had to turn on Friends Only.
Sorry if its already answered somewhere someone just refer me there please but I was looming through the tiers for subscription and don't see anything about the dlc characters where exactly am I supposed to buy those were they scraped or am I just being dumb? (This isn't complaining about them costing extra if they do) sorry for any possible confusion caused
Hey! Great question, and a great catch!
The DLC characters are all in very early development, so none of them have been released yet. I'm back and forth on whether I want to wait until the character's side story is complete before releasing, or to release them in steps like I do with the main campaign. When they are available, they will be posted as separate Itch projects, as Itch STILL does not have a DLC function. I do need to define which Patreon tiers will get access to the DLC characters for free, just for supporting, so thank you for catching that.

Impossible to use the free time book since I last updated.
NameError: name 'lydia_met' is not defined
I tried to play the main quest but still the same error, I guess no free time for me :/

edit: looking at the save file it seems my file is indeed missing the variable lydia_met, I never changed the file so I don't know why it is that way.I don't know how to add a variable in there, I used a website to check and notepad++ refuses to tell me what is written in the file.

Okay, so when I visited Wither for Blossom's royal jelly, all I got was a series of black screens with text, interspersed with a few of those grey error screens. And yes, I did begin a brand new playthrough.
Yup, this one was on me. There's a typo in Blossom's reference file I need to fix. Essentially, the game is looking for Blossom's images in Jade's image folder because I forgot to make the last correction after copy pasting a batch of reference lines.
Fixed now. Update to 0.2.3.13 for all bugfixes!

For now Season 2 is completely separate from Season 1 because Android devices can't install apks heaver than 2gb. You can't load your previous save in Season 2 yet, either.
I'm working to fix both of these things and put them all in one game, but we're not there yet lol
Ok so right now there's no way to carry over the choices? Or is it like a couple other games where it gives you the choices at the beginning and goes from there? Or does it assume you said yes to everyone? It's been awhile since I went through the first season and don't remember much if anything. Sorry for all the questions I'm just a bit confused on everything and since I have no knowledge of programming or anything like that I'm just in general pretty confused about everything.

Buddy "confused" is my default state of existence lol
Currently, there are no events in Season 2 that take your Season 1 choices into account, so there's no need for those choices to carry over.
When I finish the rewrite, the choices will be different, and they will affect the girls' side stories. It should all be within one game, too, so you shouldn't have to worry about loading previous saves.
But yes, for now, just download Season 2 and start a brand new save.
Ok thanks a ton my default state is usually pretty close but since I'm recovering from surgery at the moment confused is a good day. And makes sense now I just thought that it was a direct continuation, but it makes more sense now.

Is there something borked with the files somewhere?
I got through Free Time fine with almost all girls so far, but when I started Mouse's, I got to where she lays on me, and then it blacks out with a few lines of text from WCA2, then maybe the third frame after the blackout, a whole different game takes over, with a different style and characters completely different from wca. I spam clicked for a while to see if it ever went back, but it just keeps going on the 'new' one.
I was going to try uploading a video/screenshot, but every time I try, the itch.io app crashes.
I still have the video if there's a place you want me to put it.
So um... the story explains exactly what's going on if you read it.
You ask Mouse about her favorite show. She tells you about Crimson High, which is displayed on the TV in a massive Beanflix screen (which is supposed to be our version of Netflix, both in the WCA world and the Crimson High world), and you sit down to watch an episode of it with her.
It's a shoutout to the dev of the game Crimson High here on Itch, VertigoAVN, because without him, WCA wouldn't even have a working phone system. He's helped me a lot with the more technical aspects of WCA so I included a scene from his game and even made the Beanflix screen for us both to use. In fact, if you play Crimson High, you'll find this on one of his TV screens:

How come there were 0 h-scenes other than that cool game
So I'm working on removing all of the H-scenes from the main story and putting them in each character's side story. That way nobody is forced to do stuff with a character they don't like. All of the H-scenes will be in the Free Time sections where you explore and deepen your relationships with the girls.

lol, be me and finish season 1, have the survey pop up, recommend adding a bit of sandbox aspects so people can interact with who they want a few times and loosely mention character/event flags to trigger main story progress.
Be also me, start up season 2, and see that it's already been a thing being worked on lmao. Definitely looking forward to how this story goes, and I'm just saying that after only getting as far as the Free Time explanation lmao. This has been so well done :D

It picks up precisely in the middle of that conversation, yes. I ran out of room and couldn't finish the scene, because the game would no longer fit on Android devices if I did. So I was forced to split it.
Note, you won't be able to load your S1 save yet. Just create a new Season 2 playthrough after you download it :)

I'm also relieved but Saddened about Nook, man... I Dunno what to say. But man.... You really hyped me up when introduced four more XD, it's only Pointed out on WCA but Cecilia's back stories is one of the most well written I've read so far (even though it's not finished yet)
And Nice Idea Of having The map Hover during Free time. And Can you plase move the Book on the Very bottom left where the water is located (Beach location) so that it won't be in the way of the map and the continue button at the Bottom of the lookout point. I know it will look weird but it'll give the reader the Full area of the map.

Can't get it to open on mac. Season 1 worked just fine. All it tells me in the terminal is that the app is a directory.

Any luck with the rpa / archiving thing to bypass the Android limits?
Yes actually! We're halfway there. Now I just have to figure out how to open apk files on my PC and remove the RPA files.
Alright, so it turns out that Android builds are natively built without the RPA files. Theoretically, you should be able to drop the newly purchased RPA file into the "game" directory where Android installed your version of WCA and gain access to the character just like on PC. Will have to test with a free DLC character, I think.

Hasn't released on Itch yet. I only did a demo for Patreon and Subscribestar supporters, and that was mainly to test the new mechanics and make sure they were enjoyable before broadsiding the public with them.
