[PROGRESS REPORT] In the Face of Adversity

Hey, all. Sorry it's been so long since the last one of these. Got hit pretty hard financially, so I've had to return to working full time and even taking overtime to keep the bills paid. As a result, I haven't gotten as much done on WCA as I've liked. But still, there is progress, and here it is:

Truth be told, the entire team has been having a rough month. But we're experimenting with new productivity methods and approaches that we hope will smooth out the stress and let us happily work on WCA in a more consistent fashion. Life is a trampoline, and ya gotta be pushed down before you can bounce up. I have faith that the bounce is coming.

That being said, what we HAVE been able to do, we've been having a ton of fun with. Tilai D, in particular, is a scene that had me laughing so hard I was crying while I was shooting the renders. But it still manages to be sweet, just what you'd expect from our Goblin Princess, so I feel it's a good mix. Here's a little preview:

Worth noting, I am ABSOLUTELY going to be changing this outfit and hairstyle of hers, because it is a pain in the ass to shoot with. Not to mention when I disable her in the editor, the clothes stay visible for some reason.

Sidenote, I've been obsessed with Granblue Fantasy Relink over the past few months. Makes me wanna start a Granblue AVN...

NO. No. Focus, monkey brain. Focus.

As long as it comes out as good as you want it too, I'm willing to wait, keep up the good work👍

I'm willing to wait as long as necessary for more of the most adorable Goblin Girls in existence.  Take as much time as you and your team need.

Very kind of you. I wish more were as understanding.

I'm always impressed at how you have managed to make goblins, one of the most maligned fantasy races, cuter than kittens.

It was definitely a challenge I wanted to take. I loved the concept of goblins, but I always hated how they were either ugly, nasty, filthy creatures or just green humans. Always one extreme or the other, never a sweet spot in the middle. I wanted to see if I could make them cute and lovable without losing what made them goblins. So I kept the short stature, the grey-green skin, hooked noses, and large earlobes. I gave them a sort of dirty grey for their typical hair color and went on to customize from there. Nook and Tilai were the first two, and people loved them so much I was bullied into making more. Now we have 9 and another game planned called Goblin Roommates 'cause people would not stop pestering me for more goblins lmao

Oh, yeah...  Nook...

Oh, we're getting there. Don't you worry.
