A lot of what Galka says to you are talks I've had with friends in real life. I figure these words helped someone once, why not put them into a character and see if they continue to do so?
It's interesting having Galka as a character, because she flips the script on you. You're in a situation where everyone around you has a problem you want to try to solve for them, a wall you have to break down, but Galka is going after your walls. And it's nice to feel like someone cares for you in that way. Like, REALLY cares.
bug with the 2nd trial hide and seek after visiting other places, going to the correct place did not trigger anything I got stuck, and could only fail the trial to retry the bug didn't trigger when activating the help and going directly to the correct room, completing the trial
You should be able to just select Keep Hiding until it completes. If that doesn't work, trigger the chase by going back and forth, then hide during the chase and keep hiding. If that still doesn't work, get at me on Discord and I'll try to figure out what's going on.
I visited all others place in the trial while hiding. I tried to go to the correct place with the help and first time I triggered the bug (the green text was missing for hiding). After a chase and going back I could complete the trial on second try. (new test after your message)
I have a question, when it comes to free time secret characters I've unlocked the Gargoyle and the fish lady. However there's two others that goes unlocked is it the Harpy and Yuka (or maybe even the Gnome girl? I did the nightmare mode difficulty minigame though)? I'm not sure since I've made sure to unlock those too yet I remain missing two characters in the game even after finishing all the current content.

I like everything to each, characters that I appreciate, and I particularly want to say my Love for Galka. Which is for me a total success (and I’m still too humble) and probably the kind of people that could be called Perfect (even if in practice nothing is perfect).
Finally, I would like to conclude by saying that unfortunately on my side there are some parts that I have passed. The episode S2E4 for example, because finally, I think this type of story too serious and definitely not what I was looking for. I enjoyed more the moments relax and warm;)
Again my congratulations for all the work done, I really hope that this will continue. I hope for your success and give you all my encouragement for a private and professional future of the most brilliant.

S2E4 was pretty dark, and I think a lot of creators end up expressing in their work what they're going through in their lives at the time. A lot of us use our creative media to process and release our feelings, and that's sort of what I did in that episode. S2E5 will be brighter, and getting back to what you're used to seeing from WCA.
Either way, thanks for the time you gave it, and I'm glad you enjoyed Galka. I'm excited to write the rest of her side story.

When I installed the game on android and tried to play it for the first time, it asked me to give it access to phone's multimedia files. Why VN would need a file access?
The only thing I can think of is because Estrada's port (which is what I use for the Android version) uses an external save location in Documents/Renpy_Saves/estrada777.worldscrossingacademy/game. That way, the save files are always accessible, and any additional content like extra romance routes and the Fantasies Collection can just be dropped in there and played.
Without it, you'd never be able to access any of the extra content because Android had an update about 2 years ago I think that restricts access to files installed by APKs without rooting your device, which is a pain in the ass. Estrada's method of saving outside of the installed APK directory enables you to add extras and DLCs to the game easily.
That's Eyleth, and she is the highest requested of our upcoming extra content characters. She's currently in the game as far as getting to meet her, and she shows up in other girls' side stories briefly, but we don't have her romance route started quite yet. Hers is going to be about 30% longer than everyone else's because her story is a little complicated lol
Deleted it for the spoiler. Not cool. The character in question is a secret character and not romanceable unless you manually opt-in to her content, so discovering the character is sort of part of the story, and making the decision on whether you like her or not is totally up to the player.
Not officially, as none of us are fluent enough. There may be an unofficial fan translation out there, though. I know someone is working on a Chinese and an Italian translation.

you need to learn to be less verbose (you take way too many lines to express most things), and all the story irrelevant chatter gets in the way of the story's own flow.
your disclaimers about how this isn't like every other avn are strange since in the prologue and first chapter alone there are atleast 3 characters that clearly want in your pants (plus one skippable scene where you're nabbed by a non story relevant character for the express purpose of sexy times) and the cold/standoffish (or however you worded it) disclaimer severely underrepresents how the characters will treat you; with one treating you like literal garbage and most of the others not even wanting to acknowledge you exist until gillie says you're cool (and the explanation of it being the headmistress/principal's influence doesn't really make sense especially since she herself shows little to none of this supposed disdain towards men that we're told that she's pushing onto the students)
This is fair criticism. I have a very literary writing style, and when I first started writing this AVN, I'd never written an AVN before. I'd only written novels, with flowery and poetic prose lending weight to descriptions and engaging the reader's imagination. Coming from that straight into what is largely a dialogue-only project took a bit of time to adjust to, and I'm still not certain I have it right. It's a "first project," and those are always pretty rough starting out.
The disclaimers, though... those originally didn't exist. They only exist now because I'm tired of getting rage mail about not being able to punch people who treat you badly, how Aurum is a pussy or a white knight, and typically just hating on him because he doesn't start out perfect or as your usual blank self-insert MC that a lot of adult games tend to use. I was writing him with a character arc in mind, with obstacles and flaws, including being too selfless at the expense of his own well-being.
The newest update shortens the disclaimer in the prologue significantly. I don't know if you're playing 1.4.5.0 that just released for supporters a while ago or the public version, so if it's the public version, you'll see that changed when the 1.4.5.0 drops for the public. Regarding Ms. Clements, she was originally a lot more sour and caustic, but I got a lot of comments about how the atmosphere in the beginning of the game was so off-putting that people were putting it down before seeing how things changed once they started overcoming the obstacles. I made heavy edits to Ms. Clements and her dialogue, and that seemed to please most people.
Regarding having several characters early on who wanna get in your pants, I was under the impression that AVN players would get bored if there weren't any sexy scenes early on. It was a design flaw, and at least one of those scenes has already been taken out and moved to a side story. I was going to remove the Gillie scene in the cathedral, too, as I felt it was just as forced as the one I'd already removed, but the community asked me to keep it in, so I did.
Again, fair criticism, and I appreciate you taking the time to share your opinion constructively and not just shitting on the game to make yourself laugh. You wouldn't believe how many people do that. I aim to take everything I've learned from this community during the 4 years I've been working on WCA and apply it to my next project. I played the free version and the librarian chick pissed me off and being forced to be friendly with her sucked. with how drawn out everything felt combined with a character that I felt like outright skipping any scene she was part of I wasn't enjoying the overall experience.
I liked the gobbo girls from what I saw but nothing else really stuck as particularly enjoyable so I gave up on it after the 2nd library scene, good luck with it tho
Chiara has had to deal with Jack for quite a while, so she wrongly assumed you'd be just like him. She ends up being a pretty good buddy once she realizes she was treating you like shit for no reason. Even starts wingmanning for you later on.
And ey, that's fine. I've made peace with the fact that I can't make everyone happy. I know the beginning is still the weakest part of the story. Thanks for at least giving it a try, though!
I haven't kept up with this every update, but I thought when I came back to WCA that Ms. Clements seemed waaaay to chill for my memory. I'm glad to see I wasn't going crazy.
Personally, I can see how the old and new beginning feel a bit lackluster, however anyone who is willing to not "judge a book by it's cover" and give a fair chance (10-15 minutes?) would see how the vast the world is, and how the MC doesn't control the flow of the world, but is a part of it; at least at the start.
Yeah, I got a lot of complaints about her and Chiara being the reason people dropped the game, so I tried to tone Ms. Clements at least down a little bit. But I also had Aurum comment on how it seemed the rumors had been a little exaggerated. She still doesn't treat Jack well, but Jack also kinda deserves it.
I know I can't please everyone, but I also had to understand that AVN players and novel readers are looking for different experiences. I can go full pathos on novel readers and they eat it up. But AVN players by and large play these games to feel good, not bad, so I have to be careful how much pathos I use. It's been an interesting tightrope to walk.
Hey! We're prioritizing main game content first and foremost, but we have the Fantasies Collection DLC out and available for purchase, and we have Senia coming fairly soon. Completed DLCs are free to supporters T3 and higher, and T4 and higher get to play them as they're being developed. The final price for a full DLC character story will be $5 USD or lower, but I didn't want to release these unfinished because I didn't want people to purchase something and then have to wait for updates, if that makes sense. The one exception is our Discord giveaways, where we've given away Senia's 0.5 version (12 scenes) a few times. Those are free, so I don't feel bad about giving away an unfinished product.

Hi Dev love your story. This game would be considered to be a Visual Novel with Adult content. Please don’t respond to any post that wishes to argue with you. First reason you don’t know what state of mind that person is in. Second reason you don’t know how far they will take the argument. Learn from my mistake I was a mod and I made a player mad they hacked me and stalked me online a few years ago. Glad you like it! Sound and music design is super important to me. You'll hear the music evolve over the course of the story as I come into possession of more and more music packs, and include some sneaky references and easter eggs here and there as well :P

Played it some, and so far it seems nice. Not gotten far yet but it is promising. I however cannot open the replay gallery, i just get an error and then sent to a new game.
I like checking how many i've unlocked so far compared to how many there are, but not able to do that which makes me alittle sad.
Hmm that means a blank FantasiesCollection.rpa may have still made it into the files. The replay gallery is a paid DLC feature so the standard version shouldn't have it. I'll have to check the files and see where the issue is.
You will, however, be able to see which girls you're unlocking once you get partway into Season 2 and gain access to the Free Time system :)
Alright, I'm now confused lol. I just unpacked the 1.4.0.1 version of the game, and I'm not seeing a "Replay Gallery" button anywhere. The only button should be "Fantasies Collection," and that should be in the main menu without the game running, and only if the DLC was purchased and added to the game. Where are you seeing a "Replay Gallery" button? Are you on version 1.4.0.1? Or do you have the current free version?
I am on 1.3.5.4 as i have not paid for your game and only trying out the free version. But i see it here. I find it in options menu, but not when i am just at the start screen or going to save the game.
Ahh that must be before I did the fix, then. Should be fine in 1.4.0.1. Look in the Game folder for a file called FantasiesCollection.rpa. Should be 0KB. Delete it if you have it and that button shouldn't show up anymore.
i've played for the 1st frew chapters (i'm on the infirmary part now) and when i tried to open the gallery it gives an error, is it supposed to only work after we get farther into the story? is it a paid thing? (i saw you have another app for that) ... or is it a bug?

Yeah that version shipped with an empty FantasiesCollection.rpa file in the Game folder. That's a paid feature and the presence of the RPA unlocks it, but without any data in the RPA it doesn't work. That's fixed in 1.4.0.0, which also includes a whole new Main Story episode.

i seem to be missing 1 core character and 2 secret characters, need help on how i have to unlock them the core is the one next to galka, and the the 2 secret charaters to the left are missing, i got the 2 to the right
Hey, the 2 leftmost Secret characters don't have any content yet. They're waiting on some main story stuff but I had to make sure to put the unlock flags in when you made the choices that included them in your game.
The ones on the left or right of Galka are also waiting on Main Story stuff, so I think you got everything! I may have thrown unlock flags in to prepare them for future patches. Sorry for the confusion :
For joiplay players, the game seems to function if you change edit the game type to renpy (python2). That's using the current up to date version of joiplay+add-ons.

That first jump-scare got me real good, despite how clearly telegraphed it was xD wasn't the worst though, I won't complain about having more options. I think I'll sit on the game for now, till ya drop that update, so I get a better first experience ^v^
So far I have met the gobbos, things have been pretty smooth. The stalker vibe is really intense, the dream sequence really clinched the fear we should have about her. Great stuff.
On 1.3.5.1 - i.e. current free version. Overall impression is good, though some feedback/criticism from a new player PoV:
You've got a few issues with the plotlines which I presume is due to rewrites - some stuff is explained twice. So far I'm seeing Mrs. Clements - there's stuff the first time you bring Ember paperwork where Ember makes comments about judges and witness protection that's not actually remembered later when Ember actually puts things together. Second one is Gilly's backstory - the MC forgets that Chiara asked the "Do you know her surname/parents" earlier when it's mentioned a second time and fully explained - first time she just said something like 'it's not my place to tell you'. Then, later, Gillie explains things again. I suspect that the second time (Chiara telling you) is a remnant of changes. Third one is Druthari where, during free play at MC's house she explains that there was a betrayal and ogres, and then the next one the MC doesn't prompt/seem to remember at all about it when we get more backstory. Could probably do with a change to the MC's text to "ah, about the betrayal..." or something like that?
Overall, very ambitious number of girls. A variety of bodies and kinks, though a bit lacking in chubby/fat girls so far. I have a few worries regarding characters dropping off plotwise for a while - with that many chars you just can't see them all frequently. Possibly locking the freeroam content behind a bit more main quest could alleviate that? Also feels weird immediately unlocking freeroam and just... dumping into 4 scenes with one char. I'm thinking something like unlock first two on the first freeroam, second two on the second, or so, if there's two freeroams of that time period in the episode? Maybe this isn't feasible until the season is finished, but probably should be born in mind.
Lastly, ghost/mirror girl feels... left out. Appears early, then disappears and isn't thought about by MC until appearing in E4? Feels like she could do with some explanation or worry from MC, as by then she's not just appearing to warn of deaths (appears during cellar/lab scene before... nothing). This may be a consequence of the high number of main girls and fitting everything in. May also flow better when she reappears.
Yeah, the double-explains were pointed out and need to be shored up. Even though Season 1 got a rework, it's still in need of some heavy polishing. The early renders are garbage and as the story progresses, I become less and less happy with the writing.
As far as the girls go... Are you still playing the build, or have you finished it? I don't wanna say too much because of spoilers, but I went with a very Something For Everyone approach. I don't cover quite everything, but there are a couple of thicker girls like Kanako and Saffryn in there.
And as far as Kageshini goes, the next patch is a Main Story patch that features her VERY heavily. I'd love to have all the girls get some spotlight on a rotation, but I also have to consider what makes sense in the story, and given her limitations, I felt it was better to leave her more of a mystery for now until you actually get to meet her face-to-face.

Pinup Packs are just special folders full of HD images of the girls, since people want to see more of them and ask for more constantly. You can use them as wallpapers or banners or whatever you like. They don't affect the game or get installed into the game at all.

your disclaimers about how this isn't like every other avn are strange since in the prologue and first chapter alone there are atleast 3 characters that clearly want in your pants (plus one skippable scene where you're nabbed by a non story relevant character for the express purpose of sexy times) and the cold/standoffish (or however you worded it) disclaimer severely underrepresents how the characters will treat you; with one treating you like literal garbage and most of the others not even wanting to acknowledge you exist until gillie says you're cool (and the explanation of it being the headmistress/principal's influence doesn't really make sense especially since she herself shows little to none of this supposed disdain towards men that we're told that she's pushing onto the students)
This is fair criticism. I have a very literary writing style, and when I first started writing this AVN, I'd never written an AVN before. I'd only written novels, with flowery and poetic prose lending weight to descriptions and engaging the reader's imagination. Coming from that straight into what is largely a dialogue-only project took a bit of time to adjust to, and I'm still not certain I have it right. It's a "first project," and those are always pretty rough starting out.
The disclaimers, though... those originally didn't exist. They only exist now because I'm tired of getting rage mail about not being able to punch people who treat you badly, how Aurum is a pussy or a white knight, and typically just hating on him because he doesn't start out perfect or as your usual blank self-insert MC that a lot of adult games tend to use. I was writing him with a character arc in mind, with obstacles and flaws, including being too selfless at the expense of his own well-being.
The newest update shortens the disclaimer in the prologue significantly. I don't know if you're playing 1.4.5.0 that just released for supporters a while ago or the public version, so if it's the public version, you'll see that changed when the 1.4.5.0 drops for the public. Regarding Ms. Clements, she was originally a lot more sour and caustic, but I got a lot of comments about how the atmosphere in the beginning of the game was so off-putting that people were putting it down before seeing how things changed once they started overcoming the obstacles. I made heavy edits to Ms. Clements and her dialogue, and that seemed to please most people.
Regarding having several characters early on who wanna get in your pants, I was under the impression that AVN players would get bored if there weren't any sexy scenes early on. It was a design flaw, and at least one of those scenes has already been taken out and moved to a side story. I was going to remove the Gillie scene in the cathedral, too, as I felt it was just as forced as the one I'd already removed, but the community asked me to keep it in, so I did.
Again, fair criticism, and I appreciate you taking the time to share your opinion constructively and not just shitting on the game to make yourself laugh. You wouldn't believe how many people do that. I aim to take everything I've learned from this community during the 4 years I've been working on WCA and apply it to my next project. I played the free version and the librarian chick pissed me off and being forced to be friendly with her sucked. with how drawn out everything felt combined with a character that I felt like outright skipping any scene she was part of I wasn't enjoying the overall experience.
I liked the gobbo girls from what I saw but nothing else really stuck as particularly enjoyable so I gave up on it after the 2nd library scene, good luck with it tho
Chiara has had to deal with Jack for quite a while, so she wrongly assumed you'd be just like him. She ends up being a pretty good buddy once she realizes she was treating you like shit for no reason. Even starts wingmanning for you later on.
And ey, that's fine. I've made peace with the fact that I can't make everyone happy. I know the beginning is still the weakest part of the story. Thanks for at least giving it a try, though!
I haven't kept up with this every update, but I thought when I came back to WCA that Ms. Clements seemed waaaay to chill for my memory. I'm glad to see I wasn't going crazy.
Personally, I can see how the old and new beginning feel a bit lackluster, however anyone who is willing to not "judge a book by it's cover" and give a fair chance (10-15 minutes?) would see how the vast the world is, and how the MC doesn't control the flow of the world, but is a part of it; at least at the start.
Yeah, I got a lot of complaints about her and Chiara being the reason people dropped the game, so I tried to tone Ms. Clements at least down a little bit. But I also had Aurum comment on how it seemed the rumors had been a little exaggerated. She still doesn't treat Jack well, but Jack also kinda deserves it.
I know I can't please everyone, but I also had to understand that AVN players and novel readers are looking for different experiences. I can go full pathos on novel readers and they eat it up. But AVN players by and large play these games to feel good, not bad, so I have to be careful how much pathos I use. It's been an interesting tightrope to walk.

Hey! We're prioritizing main game content first and foremost, but we have the Fantasies Collection DLC out and available for purchase, and we have Senia coming fairly soon. Completed DLCs are free to supporters T3 and higher, and T4 and higher get to play them as they're being developed. The final price for a full DLC character story will be $5 USD or lower, but I didn't want to release these unfinished because I didn't want people to purchase something and then have to wait for updates, if that makes sense. The one exception is our Discord giveaways, where we've given away Senia's 0.5 version (12 scenes) a few times. Those are free, so I don't feel bad about giving away an unfinished product.

First reason you don’t know what state of mind that person is in. Second reason you don’t know how far they will take the argument. Learn from my mistake I was a mod and I made a player mad they hacked me and stalked me online a few years ago. Glad you like it! Sound and music design is super important to me. You'll hear the music evolve over the course of the story as I come into possession of more and more music packs, and include some sneaky references and easter eggs here and there as well :P

Played it some, and so far it seems nice. Not gotten far yet but it is promising. I however cannot open the replay gallery, i just get an error and then sent to a new game.
I like checking how many i've unlocked so far compared to how many there are, but not able to do that which makes me alittle sad.
Hmm that means a blank FantasiesCollection.rpa may have still made it into the files. The replay gallery is a paid DLC feature so the standard version shouldn't have it. I'll have to check the files and see where the issue is.
You will, however, be able to see which girls you're unlocking once you get partway into Season 2 and gain access to the Free Time system :)
Alright, I'm now confused lol. I just unpacked the 1.4.0.1 version of the game, and I'm not seeing a "Replay Gallery" button anywhere. The only button should be "Fantasies Collection," and that should be in the main menu without the game running, and only if the DLC was purchased and added to the game. Where are you seeing a "Replay Gallery" button? Are you on version 1.4.0.1? Or do you have the current free version?
Ahh that must be before I did the fix, then. Should be fine in 1.4.0.1. Look in the Game folder for a file called FantasiesCollection.rpa. Should be 0KB. Delete it if you have it and that button shouldn't show up anymore.
i've played for the 1st frew chapters (i'm on the infirmary part now) and when i tried to open the gallery it gives an error, is it supposed to only work after we get farther into the story? is it a paid thing? (i saw you have another app for that) ... or is it a bug?

Yeah that version shipped with an empty FantasiesCollection.rpa file in the Game folder. That's a paid feature and the presence of the RPA unlocks it, but without any data in the RPA it doesn't work. That's fixed in 1.4.0.0, which also includes a whole new Main Story episode.

There is. Her name is Rukah. Though she's very different from what you'd expect from your typical Orc.

Hey, the 2 leftmost Secret characters don't have any content yet. They're waiting on some main story stuff but I had to make sure to put the unlock flags in when you made the choices that included them in your game.
The ones on the left or right of Galka are also waiting on Main Story stuff, so I think you got everything! I may have thrown unlock flags in to prepare them for future patches. Sorry for the confusion :

For joiplay players, the game seems to function if you change edit the game type to renpy (python2). That's using the current up to date version of joiplay+add-ons.
Neat looking vn. Been looking for a slower burning story to follow. May look at subbbing up, shame the 2$ tier on SS is capped at 10 subscriber's lol

So far I have met the gobbos, things have been pretty smooth. The stalker vibe is really intense, the dream sequence really clinched the fear we should have about her. Great stuff.

On 1.3.5.1 - i.e. current free version. Overall impression is good, though some feedback/criticism from a new player PoV:
You've got a few issues with the plotlines which I presume is due to rewrites - some stuff is explained twice. So far I'm seeing Mrs. Clements - there's stuff the first time you bring Ember paperwork where Ember makes comments about judges and witness protection that's not actually remembered later when Ember actually puts things together. Second one is Gilly's backstory - the MC forgets that Chiara asked the "Do you know her surname/parents" earlier when it's mentioned a second time and fully explained - first time she just said something like 'it's not my place to tell you'. Then, later, Gillie explains things again. I suspect that the second time (Chiara telling you) is a remnant of changes. Third one is Druthari where, during free play at MC's house she explains that there was a betrayal and ogres, and then the next one the MC doesn't prompt/seem to remember at all about it when we get more backstory. Could probably do with a change to the MC's text to "ah, about the betrayal..." or something like that?
Overall, very ambitious number of girls. A variety of bodies and kinks, though a bit lacking in chubby/fat girls so far. I have a few worries regarding characters dropping off plotwise for a while - with that many chars you just can't see them all frequently. Possibly locking the freeroam content behind a bit more main quest could alleviate that? Also feels weird immediately unlocking freeroam and just... dumping into 4 scenes with one char. I'm thinking something like unlock first two on the first freeroam, second two on the second, or so, if there's two freeroams of that time period in the episode? Maybe this isn't feasible until the season is finished, but probably should be born in mind.
Lastly, ghost/mirror girl feels... left out. Appears early, then disappears and isn't thought about by MC until appearing in E4? Feels like she could do with some explanation or worry from MC, as by then she's not just appearing to warn of deaths (appears during cellar/lab scene before... nothing). This may be a consequence of the high number of main girls and fitting everything in. May also flow better when she reappears.

Yeah, the double-explains were pointed out and need to be shored up. Even though Season 1 got a rework, it's still in need of some heavy polishing. The early renders are garbage and as the story progresses, I become less and less happy with the writing.
As far as the girls go... Are you still playing the build, or have you finished it? I don't wanna say too much because of spoilers, but I went with a very Something For Everyone approach. I don't cover quite everything, but there are a couple of thicker girls like Kanako and Saffryn in there.
And as far as Kageshini goes, the next patch is a Main Story patch that features her VERY heavily. I'd love to have all the girls get some spotlight on a rotation, but I also have to consider what makes sense in the story, and given her limitations, I felt it was better to leave her more of a mystery for now until you actually get to meet her face-to-face.

Pinup Packs are just special folders full of HD images of the girls, since people want to see more of them and ask for more constantly. You can use them as wallpapers or banners or whatever you like. They don't affect the game or get installed into the game at all.
