[PUBLIC RELEASE] WCA S2E2
Well hello there, all!
Is it the 21st already? It IS. Well then, a promise is a promise, so here you go. Season 2 Episode 2 is now available to the public. You can download it at the bottom of the Itch post!
So the version number changed to .02. The last one was .01c. What changed?
- Removed the reference to the Demo in Yuka's persistence challenge in S2E1
- Added redundant variables at the new Free Time section to unlock all the new girls at the end of the build
Now, let's talk about S2E3. I'm not going to go into detail, but suffice it to say bad things keep happening to me, and S2E3 is not ready for Supporters quite yet. Still working on it, so your patience is appreciated. Family tragedies are hitting left and right and it's a wonder I've been able to eke out what little I've been writing lately. But don't worry, I've been kind of on a discovery trip lately, and I'm finding better ways to cope with what's been happening.
In other news... Patreon has noticed me. After 2.5 years, they've finally sent me the notification for ID verification for 18+ content creators. This means I'm on their radar now and they may demand I change my content. I have tried VERY hard to make SubscribeStar the primary support platform, but still, 95% of my income comes from Patreon. So unless y'all swap over to SS quick, fast, and in a hurry, I'm gonna have to play ball their way if they ask me to change something. Because right now, if the Patreon page for this game gets shut down, I go back to work full-time and this game gets put on hold indefinitely.

On a seperate note, the side scenes mention something about voting at end of build? I cant find anything that lets me vote- am I misunderstanding or just blind?
Sorry, that was a leftover thing from when I thought all these side stories were going in the first Season. I'm working on phasing that out.

I've said it before but I love how wholesome the interactions are between MC and all the characters.
Ok, I had that typed out before continuing the main story. I mean, I still stand by it, of course, but the appearance and happenings from two characters kinda ruined the fluffiness I had from the Free Time lol.
One of the two faaar more than the other. Though I do sympathize with them and for what drove them to that point, but still. I suppose that's to be expected though since they haven't quite gotten their redemption arc yet. They seem to have made a little progress on it at least!
What is light, without the dark to compare it to?
Suggestion - on the book when there are no new events available for a person, monochrome the icon or mark it in some other way
That's a great idea. I'm no coder but I'll try to figure out how to do that.
Honestly, I don't blame you for not sending them any form of ID. Even if they are a legitimate company and all that there's still no way in hell I'd share my ID with any non-governmental entity to have on file. With all the happenings nowadays it's just... No. Thanks but no thanks.
I have to agree to let them share it and sell it, too.
